MTE180 Advanced Mill & Computer Measurement

4 Credit Hours

The students will use advanced “G: and “M” manual programming, canned cycles and macros. They will learn to reduce programming, setup, and run time on the CNC mill. Projects will be programmed and run complete to exact tolerances. They will learn how to lay out an effective inspection plan with emphasis on future operators being able to understand and run the programs. Prerequisite: MTE 117 Basic Mill and Lathe Programming
