MTE130 Computerized Machine Operation I

3 Credit Hours

The students will learn essential set up functions of the machine, do preventive maintenance, set tool lengths, set work offset, load and run the preprogrammed assigned projects on the 3 axis vertical machining centers and turning centers. Introduction to basic inspection processes to verify compliance with drawing requirements. Prerequisite: MTE 117 Basic Mill and Lathe Programming
