CPD113 SQL I

3 Credit Hours

Students learn how to create and maintain database objects and how to store, retrieve, and manipulate the data. Students also create SQL blocks of application code that will be shared by multiple forms, reports, and data management in many different applications. Students learn many different types of query development using aggregate functions, sorting options, subqueries, grouping, having, nulls, joins, set operations, views, indexes, and security. Students learn how to apply this to high-end databases like MYSQL, Oracle and SQL Server and to incorporate SQL into computer programs.
