BI207 Human Pathophysiology

3 Credit Hours

This course is designed to provide students an overview of how the human body responds to the disease process. Emphasis is placed on how the disease process affects homeostatic conditions in organs and organ systems, and how knowledge of these processes can contribute to a better understanding of health, risk reduction, and disease management. Prerequisites: BI 100 General Biology, BI 101 General Biology Lab or BI 202 Anatomy and Physiology, BI 203 Anatomy and Physiology Lab or College Level Chemistry.
