Completion of the Certified Medication Aid (CMA) course can enhance the careers of those that have already obtained a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification. Students will learn the basic principles of medication administration within a healthcare facility with hands-on lab and clinical experiences.

Program Options

The Certified Medication Aide course is six-weeks/75 hours. Students that successfully complete the course will be prepared to take the state certification exam.

Prerequisites
Students must have a Current Kansas Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) certification prior to enrolling in this program.
