IET116 Industrial Machines and Power Transmissions

4 Credit Hours

Students enrolled in this class will learn about simple machines, and how industrial machinery designs are based on more complex combinations of simple machines. Participants will learn to understand and apply the principles of mechanical drive systems in order to install, troubleshoot, maintain machine components, proper alignment, fastening techniques, identify symptoms of failure and select the appropriate remedy.
