Thank you for your interest in Flint Hills Technical College. I hope you’ll take some time to explore our website and learn more about the many ways our college can serve you.
FHTC was founded in 1963 and was one of the first vocational-technical schools in Kansas. Since then, FHTC has continued to grow and adapt to meet today’s technical needs in the workforce. Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, we’re proud to offer distinctive and innovative programs that will help you obtain the skills needed to achieve your career goals.
If you’re a high school student, we invite you to accelerate your future by earning college credits at FHTC through on-site training, online courses, or dual credit programs at your high school. With help from the Excellence in Career Technical Education bill and unprecedented scholarship opportunities, high school students are able to gain college credit while avoiding a large financial burden.
I personally invite you to visit campus, meet with the instructors and see what FHTC has to offer. Student success is the number one priority of our faculty and staff and we look forward to the opportunity to assist you.
